Hand painted originals

In my East Sussex studio, each painting begins with a gathered stem, grown from seed, foraged from hedgerow paths, or sourced from local growers who I’ve come to know over the seasons. I observe the plant as it opens, sketching its form in natural light before oil mixing begins. Pigments are mixed by hand to reflect the living colour of each petal and leaf.
